Why does my vacuum sling stuff backwards?

Vegangsta! need help to clarify doubt about: : Why does my vacuum sling stuff backwards?
It’s the worse when I am vacuuming up the kitty litter off the floor, some of it goes flying onto my feet and it hurts. Why does it do this? I tried adjusting how low the vacuum goes from bare floor to normal carpet and that doesn’t seem to help. It sucks vacuuming one area and then turning around to vacuum all the crap it just flung backwards. The vacuum is a Hoover Windtunnel T series PAWS

Its because the brush whips it back towards your feet – you can’t get the setting low enough to prevent that. You could get one of those floor vaccums that works better – or you can get a small shop vac and use it….

or you can just sweep lazybutt.
