My Vacuums main roller won't turn, any help???

4

It’s a Hoover Windtunnel self-propelled bag vacuum. I have tried letting it sit for 30 mins. to "reset" the thermal overheating switch, but that did not work. I have checked the belts and both are fine ( I just replaced them both not long ago). I have also checked to see if it is clogged, and the same thing. Does anyone know where i can talk to a hoover expert for free??? Or any suggestions??

  1. I would just call the manufactuer. They should be able to help you. It could be a electrical connection problem.

  2. I would have thought is it the belt. If you overheated it, you may have stretched the belts, and that is why they are not working, even though they are new. Look in your yellow pages for a vacuum cleaner specialist. Call, and they should be able to help you, just buy the parts you need from them.

  3. press the power switch if that doesn’t work plug it in the wall. ever think of that. are you blonde

  4. See if there is a connector that was disconnected after the belts were replaced. They may not have been connected properly. This mean you would have to open it apart, tag and label the parts to know where they belong.
