Good little Vacuum for the Money,
After I purchased this vacuum for $88, I saw it on Amazon for […] plus shipping. Even at my price, I am happy with my Hoover WindTunnel vacuum. This is the basic model, so it has no retractable cord. But after reading reviews where people had trouble with the retractable part, I’m glad mine just winds around the 2 plastic hooks on the back. Assembling this was very easy. You just put on the handle, tightening a screw with a phillips head screwdriver and then put the bagless tank in place. I was vacuuming within about 5 minutes of opening the box. My other vacuum is a bulky Bissell Healthy Home. It cost over 3 times what I paid for the Hoover. The Bissell works great but is too heavy to carry up and down the stairs. The Hoover weighs less than 20 pounds and takes up less storage space in my small utility room. I like the gauge that turns red when you have to empty the tank and rinse the hepa filter. The Hoover has the hose and basic attachments and works well on picking up pet hair. I know my carpets will be cleaner now that I have a lighter weight, smaller vacuum.

This is my review for the HOOVER WIND TUNNEL UH70100 UPRIGHT BAGLESS VAC. My first vac was a Bissel. It lasted 7yrs. The Bissel worked great, as far as getting dirt goes. But when it came to pet hair, the Bissel I had clogged up pretty easy and quick. I decided to try a new model. So, I bought the HOOVER WIND TUNNEL UH70100 UPRIGHT BAGLESS VAC. It is EXCELLENT, so far. The first time I used it, the amount of pet hair and dirt it sucked up was amazing. The Bissel didn’t come close to cleaning my carpet this good. The Bissel model I had would get pet hair wrapped around the brush pretty tight. Cleaning the HOOVER WIND TUNNEL UH70100 is a snap. You only have to clean the bagless canister assembly with just hot water, depending how dirty it is.

I have owned this vacuum for about 6 months now and it still has fantastic suction. I have a golden retriever, so I need a vacuum that works. I had a Bissell vacuum before that would clog with hair within 1 minute whenever I tried to use it, and this vacuum has NEVER clogged. It’s amazing how much this vacuum can pick up – dog hair, fine & coarse dirt, dog food, anything I’ve thrown at this vacuum, it’s handled it well. The upholstery attachment works great, as do the rest of the attachments. I use this vacuum on all of my hard surface floors now instead of sweeping, in addition to using it on carpeting and rugs. I’ve even used it to “dust” furniture and vacuum loose hair off of my dog. :)
It’s also extremely easy to empty and the reusable filter cleans easily. It’s lightweight enough to be easily maneuvered and carried up and down stairs. Initial assembly was simple and took me about 5 minutes.
I can’t say enough good things about this vacuum. My house is so much cleaner now and I spend much less time cleaning than I did pre-Hoover. I agonized for weeks when I started shopping for a vacuum cleaner due to the extremely poor performance of my previous one, and I haven’t regretted making this purchase once. I have recommended it to all of my pet-owning friends.
