    It turned out I did not need the belts. There is a lever on the vacuum that disengages the belt, and it turns out this is what happened. The belt appears to be too large when first fitting it on the vacuum, but after engaging the lever it works just fine. If the belt does break, I have two extra on hand.

    It is like stated really makes the old sweeper bring up the nap of the rug. No stretching seen and wears quite well. The two belt set should last the life of the unit. Good price and quick to ship.
