  1. REEFBLUENOTCH, interesting that you would disable my ability to respond to
your post. I used the word “arguably” with good reason. The idea is a point
of contention. If I hadn’t used that word, you may have more reason to
    challenge me on this issue.

  2. I have a few counterarguments against some of your opinions. Albeit, most
of your opinions are completely reasonable and unbiased.

The wand: Metal vs Plastic. We can all agree that plastics will be lighter.
However, the plastic that Dysons are made of are mostly (if not entirely)
out of the same polycarbonate that riot shields are made of. On another
note, metal will dent and bend more easily where as plastics will just
    flex.
The hose: I find that the Dyson hose is mainly stiff due to being stored in
the compressed state as such and being deployed when under under pressure.
If you pre-extend the hose to full length before turning the machine on, it
should alleviate the issue, but that could also be considered a downside as
    well.

  3. Dude if American idol was vacuum reviews you would wind lol! what a through
    unbiased and complete comparison.

  4. I’m in the market for a new upright vac. As I currently have a Eureka
AirSpeed Gold AS1001A model vacuum which has given me years of excellent
cleaning power. Considering i literally use it every single day to clean-up
after my 6 parrots. And anyone whose a bird owner can completely understand
the copious amounts of messy seed husks and other debris these birds
are noted for making…!!! However, it’s reaching the end of it’s life thus
why i need a new vacuum. I thoroughly enjoyed and appreciated this
comprehensive review on both of these machines. Especially, since these two
vacuums are at the top of my list right now. But i must say that while i
enjoyed the overall review i feel one of the tests wasn’t quite fair and
that was the “hard floor test”. As it was quite apparent the brush bar on
the Hoover was clearly NOT engaged when it tried to pick-up the mess on the
hard floor surface. Where as just the opposite was shown using the Dyson
which makes one think if the brush bar HAD been engaged on the Hoover would
the result for that specific test have been any different…?

  5. that hoover had loss cleaning I hate the hoover its no good its not
    cleaning all the
floor I like the dyson dc41 I want to destroy the hoover I hate it

  6. With the Hoover you didn’t turn on the brush roll but with the dyson you
let it stay on for the hard floor test, I did the same test and left the
brushroll on and it picked everything

  7. The hoover falls on the floor a lot from a standstill, and the sound is
obnoxious. I can’t find where the turbine brush mounts to on the
hoover… RIDICULOUS design for standing up and storing. However, I paid
$150 for it brand new, from Hoover outlet with the full 5 year warranty.
So… even if it dies in 2 years, can buy 2 more for the same price as 1
dyson. I guess it’s a good thing I only have carpet (with a
    kitchen/bathroom tiled of course).

  8. In the Hoover Air Cordless they moved the hose to the center, I would love
to see a consumer review comparing it!

  9. This is all fuck shit fuck shit! You went 1.9 second faster on the dyson
than the Hoover and I did the same test AT THE SAME SPEED AS THE HOOVER!
And out of 10oz dyson dc41 picked up 9.4oz FUCK YU MOTHER FUKING
    HOOVER!!!

  10. ultimately at the end of the day, both vacuums achieve their purpose of a
good thorough of cleaning carpets, and the hardtile demo was good, but i
would just use a broom and a dust pan,as long as the carpet gets clean well
and the vacuum boasts that it can compete with a dyson but its cheaper im
in for a cheap but good quality vac that can compete with a dyson an
example of that is the eureka airspeed bagless ive had that vac since
2012..-2 years basically and it goes along with what its boasts it cleans
carpets like a dyson for 1/3 the price…the hoover air pro seems like a
better by to me in this vid, plus it has a cool look.

  11. Bypass vacuums in general aren’t that great. You should try a Riccar,
Royal, Or Kirby.. You’d be surprised by how much better they clean carpet.
Though if you don’t like dealing with bags.. which many don’t, these are a
    better purchase for you.

  12. Oh and did You see how shit the air pro did on the hard floor hhahahahaha
lolol! And living up to the dyson name the dc41 pick up all The dust

  13. Great video! I actually HAVE that Hoover, as just couldn’t afford the
Dyson, and was VERY pleased with the results, especially since my two labs
just JETTISON their fur all OVER the house (and cars). Picks up GREAT, now
I don’t have to be embarrassed to have people come over and sit on my
furniture or my carpet. I’m seriously thinking of taking one of the
    attachments and vacuuming my dogs!

  14. I bought a Hoover Air Pro, & love it, use it every couple of days. However,
the turbo brush that comes with it is crap! Slows down to the point where
the brush hardly turns when cleaning the couches. Bought a Wessell Werk
generic turbo brush from the local vac shop & that works much better than
    the Hoover turbo brush.

  15. One shoe lace hung in the brushes of my Dyson killed the brushes from
working despite Dyson sending me another head. Sucks good but I wish my
    brushes worked.

  16. You do realize, don’t you, that the hose is ‘stiff’ because the wand
telescopes down inside the hose for storage…If you fully extend the wand,
    the hose is very flexible.
