  1. hoover, the shaft on my hoover wind tunnel is not moving getting very hot
and just broke the new belt. not the agitator brush

  2. I removed the plate, checked for anything clogging it and checked the belt.
Everything seems ok. It still will not spin. Maybe it’s something in the
    switch? Please advise. Thanks.

  3. I have a model UH72450 and the brush roller is working intermittently. It
seems that I need to recline the vacuum at a particular angle in order for
it to spin — not to shallow, not too steep. If I recline it more than a
few degrees, it stops spinning; if I stand it upright so that it is not
reclining, it stops spinning. This is a relatively new behavior; previously
    it was working fine.

  4. I am no where near any repair shops. There is no blockage in the way if the
brush. In fact the brush will spin on the higher carpet settings, but on
the lower settings the brush is stopped by the carpet and the belt
continues to spin but not the brush. My question do these belts stretch?

  5. Hi Zero. If this didn’t fix your problem, there may be a bigger problem. We
recommend taking it in to a service center. You can find one near your home
at the link we added to the video description (YouTube won’t let us add
links in the comments). Let us know if you need more help.
