  1. Dyson may suck up all the dirt than any bagged upright but they can’t go under low furniture and most models use a drive belt. Try Sebo/Windsor Sebo as a comparison.

  2. Most of the bagged uprights I’ve used have a drive belt. The drive belt does not cause any interference to its cleaning efficiency.

  3. Sold Dysons for Sears (and the Hoover SP Windtunnel for that matter). Headlight on your Hoover burned out which speaks to the overall condition of the machines. You don’t know how to set the height on any vacuum it seems so that’s good that the Dyson is “self adjusting”

  4. IT would’ve been nice if the test was done in reverse..i.e. vacuum with the dyson first then the hoover after and show how much dirt the dyson missed (if any). I have the yellow dyson and without any other vac to compare it too, not sure how good it picks up dirt compared to others.
