Does anybody own a Hoover Windtunnel Vacuum?

Do you like it? I currently have a Eureka Canister vacuum but
it’s getting kind of old. How does the upright compare to a canister vac? Can you clean the carpet & floors ?

  1. I had one but didn’t like it. I don’t like any of the bagless vacuums. Bought a Kirby.

  2. I used to have a Hoover Windtunnel, but got rid of it because it was so heavy to use!

I’m a Eureka woman. I have a bagless and a bagged model. Mine has both hard floor settings and carpet settings.

  3. I bought a Hoover WindTunnel bagless vacuum last year and I absolutely HATE cleaning it. I can’t wait until I can buy a new vacuum with a bag…I will never buy another bagless EVER. The dirt flies everywhere when you clean the filter…you practically have to wear a hazmat suit. It does a nice job cleaning the carpet though.

  4. Yes, I own a 12 amp motor, twin chamber Hoover Wind Tunnel bagless vac. I think it’s great! You can vacuum carpet and floors since it adjust from hard floor to carpet heights. It also comes with a powered hand tool and a few other attachments that store right on the vacuum.

As far as how it compares to a canister vac, I’d choose the wind tunnel, but not necessarily because it works better, although works really good and pick up well. It is also easy to handle and carry, not to mention that there are no vacuum bags to remember the correct size. Also, in my opinion it works best when you empty it after each use.

  5. We use them in the hotel where I work. They have good suction and clean very good. They don’t get into tight places but they do have the hose that you can take loose and use.

  6. i do, but it not the best out of my 15 vacuums. I am a coleter. Out of all of them, i really like my Kirby, and my Perfect(not vary many people know about Perfect). But, if you like to spend under $200 on a vacuum, it’s going to be the best. I have not use the canister(i have the upright) but canisters are most of the time always the best. None of them can clean wood the right way, it could hurt it. whatever you get, DO NOT GET A DYSON. THEY DON’T PICK UP SMALL PLEACES OF PAPER! try looking at used Kirbys on ebay. I got mine for $50, its 20 years old, but it works like new! Kirbys have lasted over 70 years!

I hope this will work for you
