nuts4mutts need help to clarify doubt about: : best vacuum for frieze carpet?
I cant find a vacuum for my new carpet. The threads are high and some vacuums are too hard to push on it. I have tried the Oreck which is terrible for high carpet and I also tried the Hoover Wind Tunnel which is ok but still is difficult to push because of the high carpet. Does anyone have any suggestions for a vacuum that works on frieze/shag carpet……….Thanks in advance,,,,

Hi, A friend who has pets bought a Eureka boss smart vac ultra 4870 and she loves it. She said it was recommended by a leading consumer magazine and rated right up there with higher priced vacuums. It was priced around 150.00 and really cleans carpets and bare floors. Has hepa filtration, 8 carpet settings, convenient tools and ability to control suction when using tools. She does not have any shag but you think with 8 carpet settings you would find the appropriate setting for shag. Hope this helps.
