How do I change the electrical cord on a Hoover windtunnel vacuum?

I cannot locate where the cord is connected in the vacuum. I have removed the back and cant figure out how to get by the motor to change it. I realize there are only 3 wires, but I cant figure out to get to them. The dogs chewed my cord beyond belief and it needs replaced.
