Great buy on a great vacuum!,
I was a little apprehensive at first in buying a remanufactured vacuum. However, for the $55 cost delivered, I figured what the heck and made the purchase from Amazon. Two days later the box arrived. Super fast shipping! Upon opening the box and removing the parts, the vacuum appreared to be new wrapped in plastic with only one very small scratch noted. Also came with the factory instruction manual. Very simple to put together. So much so that my 8 year old took on the task and did great. I liked the removeable and washable HEPA filter feature especially.
We plugged the machine in and tested an area on the carpet about 10 square feet. I immediately noticed the clear dust cup begin to fill with debris as it swirled around inside. VERY impressive power/suction. The retractable power cord works great. The hose with hand attachments are very well made and durable. Looks as though they will last long. The vacuum also has a headlamp which actually worked quite well as it illuminated the area below the table nicely, allowing me to see dog toys I didnt want to suck up.
The call came into me the following day at work from my wife which sold me on the item. She couldnt get over how well the vacuum worked and had nothing but good things to say about it. Said the carpets looked entirely different. And these are carpets that are cleaned almost daily. We previously had a much smaller and compact Hoover that was alot lighter and easier to use, but clearly didnt have the power of this one does.
We highly recommend this vacuum.
