This is a Hoover’s own 5200, it is my daily driver for about 12 Year now just a little over 3 years after I was born. Now this is my mom’s vacuum but is really ‘mine’ since I do the vacuuming everyday. At a point of it’s life when my mom and dad were fighting the vacuum was there Dad grabbed it and slammed against the wall, I was wondering if the vacuum would be ok but surprisingly it did. There was a holder that held the bottom half of the vacuum that connected to the belt and real snapped right off and for 6 Years I did not know why I did not notice it but I have been vacuuming with out the brush roll spinning bu it seemed like it had the suction for all the dirt to be picked up and when I opened the bottom plate there was no belt…now I did not want to know that this vacuum just ate the belt. Now I do not recommend Hoover Windtunnel or any ‘Plastivac’s just because they are poorly built but light weight, quiet brush roll but not stiff bristles. It would be really nice if I can get a free hoover Convertible just pop in front of my house no shipping or handling or fee if it’s broken or no use then that’s fine but I really want just one! =} I’m so greedy.
