I have a Dyson. It LOST suction! Granted I have had it about 8 years, but they say it will NEVER lose suction. Not sure I would buy another, especially given the price.

That red/green light thing is such a gimmick – it was coming on and off so randomly!!! Anyone who falls for all that plasticised junk needs to see a retail therapist! Get yourself a Miele. You don’t need any lights to tell you the carpets are clean. You can vacuum blindfolded and KNOW they are!!

Both models are junk. The bagged unit’s filter bag will clog as it fills up.and it’ll lose suction. The bagless unit’s filter will also clog and require cleaning/replacing. It’s a gimmick. Get a Dyson. They will never clog, never lose suction, and its filters will NEVER clog nor need replacing.
If you would of had that eureka on the correct floor setting on that hoover rug it would of probably picked up the same as the hoover!! the reason that hoover picked up more than the eureaka wasn’t because it has windtunnel technology it was because the eureka was set on the wrong floor setting. I do beleive windtunnel technology probably does lift and trap the dirt but noot on that large of a scale!
What’s the point of a self cleaning hepa filter? The whole reason hepa filters are used is to catch allergens, but what’s the point of catching allergens then returning them into the air when you empty the cup? And other people mentioned it doesn’t even work. I would go with the bagless. That’s just my opinion.

Why didn’t she adjust the blue Eureka to the proper height? If the Eureka was that bad, she could have set it to the proper height and done an honest demo! No vacuum is going to pick up the dirt when the height is raised so the brush doesn’t touch the carpet!
